Thoughts/advice on Environmental Science career in Perth

I am halfway through a Master of Biotech (Environmental major) and finding that a pure research path is not appealing to me at the moment. Considering an Environmental Science career instead. I'm aiming to speak to a careers adviser ASAP and apply to as many grad programs as I can find in the next few weeks. I'm struggling to find other junior/entry level opportunities for this field and was hoping to get some insight from anyone in related areas. Just thought I'd try my luck here to see if anyone had gone through something similar. Would really appreciate your thoughts and any advice.
