I WORK IN EPFO.

Hey there! I'm nodal officer (Grievances) in one of the Regional Offices of EPFO. I maybe able to guide you regarding any query you may have when it comes to EPFO and the withdrawals related to your Provident Fund. If you have any questions, ask away!

EDIT 1: EPFO never asks for your UAN or any sensitive information. Kindly do not share anything with me at all. I'll only guide you as to how to approach and handle your situation.

EDIT 2: If someone calls you from EPFO office asking your any details at all then tell them that you'll mail the details to the Official ID. This is the protocol. Never share anything via call/text/social media. The official ID goes like this: This ID is working 24/7. It will never go down, if someone asks you to send details some other way, it might be for ease of convenience but you never know who could be scamming you. BEWARE. (NO GMAIL, NO HOTMAIL, NO OUTLOOK, nothing at all)

EDIT 3: The response I am getting for this post it overwhelming. I'll reply to each one of you but it may take some time. There are a lot of new and unique cases that I'm seeing for the first time and I'll need to consult with the concerned department to get a solution. Rest be assured, that I'll try my best to guide you. I had decided to create this post due to the sheer amount of grievances and lack of transparency when it comes to EPFO. Please be patient.

EDIT 4: No matter what, do not bribe the government officials. It's your money. We're called Government Servant for a reason, we're in the office to serve you and we're getting paid for whatever work we are doing. No extra payment is required for anything at all. If a clerk is asking for bribes, contact the Section Supervisor.
Below is the list of the hierarchy of Officers in EPFO - Regional Office.
Clerk (SSA, DA) > Section Supervisor > Accounts Officer > Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner > Regional Provident Fund Commissioner II > Regional Provident Fund Commissioner I.
Move up the hierarchy, ask the questions, get things done. Be polite though.

EDIT 5: Got busy at work. I am reading the issues but not getting ample time to reply. Will reply to each one of you. Just that it will take time. (Edit 5 at 7:21PM, 11th March)

EDIT 6: Got free now and will try to answer to each one of you under my capacity. If the issue is critical, you may DM me.
