The size of the Padel Club EXPECTATIONS / Reality

I’m working towards my dream of opening my own padel club, and I’m taking small steps to make it a reality. I’ve been running some calculations for an indoor padel club, but I’m curious how they would hold up in real-world scenarios. If you have any experience or insights to share, I would greatly appreciate your advice and guidance!

• A standard padel court (20m × 10m) requires 200 m².
• For 8 courts: 200 m² × 8 = 1,600 m².
• Additional space: Allowing for walkways between courts and spectator areas, add 30–40%:
  • Total: 2,000–2,200 m².
• A small restaurant (50–100 seats) requires 150–250 m², including the kitchen and guest area.
• If you include a bar or lounge area, add another 50–100 m².

• Total: 200–350 m².

• Each locker room (male/female) typically requires 50–100 m².

• Including showers, toilets, and lockers, two locker rooms would need 150–200 m².

• Storage for equipment, cleaning areas, and staff rooms: 100–150 m².

• Reception, lounge, hallways: 150–200 m².

Total Required Space: 2,600–3,100 m².
