To what extent, if at all, are Sebastian Stan’s chances of being nominated for best actor increased by the Academy REALLY wanting to make Trump’s head explode?

I realize this can, at the surface, sound juvenile, non-serious, or even a joke. But a joke it is not. There’s nothing at all implausible about it.

Stan is further helped by Trump’s failed attempts to stop the film from coming out in the U.S. and Stan going on the trail and driving home the point that the film should be seen for the very reason that the most powerful man in the world wanted to stop it.

And dare I even think that he could win best actor in large part to infuriate the chief executive?
