Why does Helly keep cockblocking Helena? Is she stupid?

We’re in the second season and I’m still waiting for Helena and iMark to settle down on a nice goat farm. Helena and iMark have great chemistry, but Helena’s friend Helly keeps interfering and being at work?? It’s pretty clear to me that iMark likes Helena more. They even had sex and made the light in the tent go reddish orange. And all Helly has is a hunched shoulders? Now Helena’s moved to an apartment block in Glasgow I don’t think they’re ever gonna be together :(
