My SV nuzlocke taught me a very harsh lessons about not underestimating npc trainers by the number of Pokemon in their team

A common complaint about people who play SV the regular way is that generic npc trainers tend to have only one Pokemon. But what they forget is that in older games, when a npc trainer had multiple Pokemon, it was usually multiple lower level of the same Pokemon like Geodude or Magikarp. The npc trainers in SV have one but strong Pokemon. What makes matters even worse is that trainer classes in SV do nothing to telegraph the Pokemon they use. It could be literally anything. Which, again, is different from older games which you could expect to battle a lot of Hikers with Rock/Ground types in a mountain area or lots of Swimmers with Water types in a sea route, so at least you could plan ahead.
