Hi Nova, in need of an outstanding dentist
My mother has beautiful teeth aesthetically, many dentists tell her, however, over 20 years ago she had to have a root canal. They did a bone graft and she said they used animal bones for this graft and she has been in pain since. This is two decades of going to dentists and them telling her she looks fine, however, the pain is there in her nerve and she cannot bite down on this tooth or else it sends shooting pain and headaches to her.
She has been to a myriad of dentists in the DMV area and some have retried the root canal but there is still pain. I got a recommendation for a different dentist but what can she say or explain to not make dentists dismiss her pain? She tells me that they are not taking her seriously because of how her teeth look but the problem is her root canal she had (and had redone a few times) on her back molar.
