Does long-term "Print Pushing" cure myopia?

Hey, I just read a blog about a guy who claims to have improved his eyesight and reduced his myopia primary through something he calls "Print Pushing".

Here is the blog: How I reduced my Myopia from -3.25 to -1.00 [Road to 20/20 Vision] | Jason Ong (ongjason.com)

Basically, he explains that to reduce myopia, do lots of reading on the "edge of blur". Basically read text at a distance where the text is blurry but possible to make out. In theory, over time your eyesight should naturally readjust so that the previously blurry text becomes clearer and you can read slightly further away.

To me, it sounds plausible. Has anyone had any success using this method? Or have any opinions as to whether this method is good or bad?
