Has anyone else had trouble with ASDA?
My normal provider (Lloyds) were out of stock of my dose and I needed to re-order on the 24th. Silly of me to wait until Christmas Eve, I know, but at that point I was worried I wouldn’t make my next dose which is due tomorrow.
I’ve tried my luck with ASDA Pharmacy Online and it’s been a nightmare from start to finish. They took three days to review my request which of course was expected given I ordered Christmas Eve, but the doctor declined my request and messaged me to say it had been declined in error and could I resubmit so they could approve it. This was on the 27th; I’ve resubmitted and heard nothing back, despite their website saying they guarantee order review within 24 hours.
I’ve been so concerned about not receiving my next dose in time that I’ve ended up ordering again via Lloyds since my dose is back in stock with them. I ordered about an hour ago and delivery is confirmed for tomorrow. Simple.
Now I can’t get in touch with ASDA despite their phone lines supposedly being open from 8am. I’ve checked their adjusted hours for the festive period and there are no changes today, it should be running as normal. God knows how I’m going to reach them to get my order cancelled and refunded.
I suppose this is what I get for not ordering my next pen well ahead of Christmas, but it has made me grateful for the seamless service I’ve had from Lloyds so far.
Edit: Oops, looks like I missed all of the comms from Lloyds to say they’d be OOO until the 27th so would close orders, hence why their site said they were out of stock. I’ve now been able to get in touch with ASDA and the order is cancelled and refunded. Please excuse me and my worry-fuelled rant 😅
