Should be illegal

Just got back from an auction. Unit advertised as 600-660k. Closing bid at the auction was 687k and they annouced the reserve wasn’t met?? What BS. And huge waste of time getting approved and excited for properties. Viewing them multiple times. And seeing this happen takes all the trust away from advertised pricing. I get that houses can go well above advertised price in an auction. But 27k above the high end of the listed price and not meeting reserve is just bananas. But that Ray White for you. Scum
