[Serious][Preclinical] Is it necessary to buy the newest edition of FA before Step?

I have FA 2018 and am gonna go through it until the end of December. Is it worth it to buy FA 2019 when it comes out at the end of the year or can I just keep going with FA 2018 and just note the changes instead?
