Syphilis without getting sexual with anyone in life. Is it possible?

I just got a call from the blood donation center that my blood has tested positive for syphilis.

I never had sex before and never been sexually involved with anybody. Is it possible to get comtacted still?

I have sort of gone into a depressed state simce i heard this. Please help me identify the cause and also the steps to cure.

First of all Thank you everyone for your assistance. After reading the comments i straightaway went to an urologist and asked him for a test. He said there are no symptoms and since you have not had any contact with anyone sexually so there is no need to have anything checked. He said that if I had syphilis my penis would be full of ulcers by now which is not the case. Lil guy is shiny clean. So I hope it was a false positive.
