How do these timelines work?

Hey everyone, so after seeing Deadpool and Wolverine for the third time now, I still have 1 question that I can’t seem to find an answer to. In the movie when Deadpool goes to search for a Wolverine he goes into multiple different timelines (as shown in the photos), are those timelines the same as they are in the comics, and is the life action just a sort of continuation for that comic in a way? For example: the Wolverine strapped to the cross, is that the exact same one as the one in the comic or is it just a different Wolverine doing the same thing. It’s hard to form the right question but I’d appreciate all the help :)
