Which Characters you hoped was in a different role?
For any reason, like if you like that character but don't like the role or you feel like another role fits the story of that character a bit better.
For the most part I am pretty satisfied with the role assignment of Marvel Rivals' characters (too many duelists tho) but for a few characters, I am going to give my thoughts on what role they could be.
Black Panther could be a Vanguard that stacks damage received an unleashes them for an AOE Damaging ability like Doctor Strange's E.
Mister Fantastic feels like a Vanguard and I still think should've been a Vanguard. Less damage but more crowd control.
Same goes for Wolverine, he should've been a Vanguard that has a lot of self sustain. Would probably still as annoying as the current Wolverine.
Doctor Strange could be a strategist. This is the main reason of this post honestly, I loved playing him in Marvel Midnight Suns but was saddened when I played this game and he was a tank. I still enjoyed him though and is my main but in general, I am a better strategist player and I still think with his myriad of spells, Doctor Strange would've been a great strategist.
His kit could be something like Invisible Woman's with a bit more focus on Crowd Control.
NORMAL ATTACK (Left Click) Bolts of Balthakk - Unleashes a bolt of Mystical Energy that deals damage to an enemy and bounces to the nearest ally then bounces back to the original target, if no ally is in 6m, it will bounce to the nearest enemy within 10m.
ABILITIES Right Click: Seven Suns of Cinnibus - When Doctor Strange has 3 or more Flame charges, he can unleash a powerful spell within an area that deals damage to enemies and heals ally within the Area of Effect. Damage and Healing increases if the charge is higher. CD: 7 Seconds
F: Shield of the Seraphim - Gives an ally a shield that blocks up to 300 damage as well as give them 200 bonus health for 10 seconds. If no ally is targeted, Doctor Strange will receive 200 bonus health instead. CD: 4 Seconds
E: Crimson Bands of Cyttorak - Doctor Strange tethers up to 3 targets within 20m slowing them. After 3 seconds, if the targest are unable to break the tether, they will get snared and become unable to move for 2 seconds. CD: 8 Seconds
Q (Ultimate) : Eye of Agamotto - Doctor Strange unleashes the power of the Eye of Agamotto, stunning all nearby enemies for 3 seconds as well as healing all nearby allies. Enemies hit by this spell will receive 30% more damage for 8 seconds.
LShift: Cloak of Levitation - Allows Strange to fly for 10 seconds. CD: 12 Seconds
Space: - Holding Space will allow Strange to fall slower.
PASSIVES Flames of Faltine - Every time Doctor Strange heals an ally or damages an enemy, he gains a stack of Flames of Faltine allowing him to use the Seven Suns of Cinnibus. Every stack of the Flames also buffs his damage and healing. Once it reaches the maximum amount of seven, the flames cool down after 10 seconds rapidly losing all charges.
