Which X-men packs for a beginner?

So I'm looking to expand beyond the Core Box and know I want to collect the X-men. The question I have for all of you is *which* packs I should get.

Mutant Genesis - This is the expansion that was recommended to get started with X-men and is the one thing on this list that is (for the most part) set in stone. Not going to swap it for any of the other boxes unless one of the other X-men focused boxes is better.

The main point of this post is to ask *which* Hero Packs I should get. I have the following list of characters I know I want because I love the characters:

Wolverine

Phoenix

But I would like to also pick up three other hero packs and am not sure which ones to get. I was considering Storm - Cyclops - Rogue to (mostly) finish off Wave 6. But I also know that Psylocke is highly recommended for Phoenix so I'm not sure. Just a quick reminder - I currently have nothing other than the Core Box so the list of pre-existing cards I have to build in with the new packs is limited.
