Are DEXA scans useless?
Hi people.
Less than a week ago I went and got a DEXA scan and it said I was 20.5%.
I posted on reddit, and people stated I was way more than 20.5% and in the league of 26%+, others have stated for a male 26%+ is considered obese, and they claim I'm not obese, so they claim I would be closer to 20% BF.
For the last month'ish:
I've been cycling 80-100km a day.
30 minutes of jogging per day
30 minutes of speed rope per day
I started 2 weeks ago going 1 hour of gym per day (chest/tri's, back/bi's, or shoulder/legs per day)
(plan to start sprinting soon as well)
I went for another DEXA scan today at another facility and it says I'm at 20.2%.

I'm definitely in rough shape, but I would really like an accurate baseline to work from and it's hard to know if the DEXA scans are incorrect and the random people on reddit are correct, or vice versa.
I don't really care about BF% anymore, but I just want a baseline to check on in 6 months. This will require some kind of measuring tool that is reliable.
Thanks for your time.
