I have been secretly seeing my probation officer for about 3 months now. I'm thinking about breaking things off, but I'm scared of retaliation. What should I do?

Posting this here because I was told it’s a question more suited for lawyers:

About 3 months ago my probation officer and I began secretly hooking up, which at this point has developed almost into a full blown relationship. However, she has been incredibly clingy and nosy (always asking where I’m going, what I’m doing, etc) and frankly I’m getting tired of it. I’m looking to break things off with her. The problem, of course, is that she’s my probation officer, so she could be incredibly vindictive about this if she wanted to. She knows that I still use amphetamines, and she has been taking my drug tests for me as a courtesy. I’m on felony probation, so if she decides to drug test me for real I could go back in the pen. I can tell that she’s way more into me than I am into her, and I’m just ready to end things at this point. I’ve got someone I’ve been seeing on the side, and if she finds out about that she’s going to be furious. Does anyone have any advice on how to navigate this difficult situation? Has anyone been in this kind of situation before? Thanks in advance for any replies!
