Learning Web Development vs Framer...etc and earning side income

Hi all,

I'm looking at jumping into teaching myself web development/javasvript but have also come across things like Framer and Web flow which people are using and creating themes to sell and earn money.

My motivation and goal here is its been something I'm interested in for a while but I'd also like a skill I an occupy myself with to learn and hopefully start doing to earn a little bit extra money on the side.

I was hoping to get people's thoughts on the reality of this and which you'd recommend in the current date. I know that AI is changing the space a lot. People saying the market is saturated for web devs to do freelance.

So what are peoples experiences with this? How and what would you recommend learning? How long would you give it? Reality of earning say and extra £500 a month and time involved in that?

I appreciate Theres a few questions there but It would just be good to get people's overall opinions.
