Should secondary antibody be matched to the species of the target antigen of the primary antibody or the source species of the primary?
I have an anti-human detection antibody raised in goat. Do I use a human secondary since it's binding to human trem1 or a goat secondary since the antibody was raised in goat?
It's a bit mysterious to me because the tissue I am staining is from a mouse that is expressing the humanized version of the receptor.
