Does Getting Fired Hurt Your Chances?

If they fire me before I quit, what are the ramifications on future job prospects?

I am early 30s and I have never been fired from a job before. Recently there’s been some issues at work. People have been out sick, short tempers around the office, and I do not put it past the higher ups to fire one of us as a warning to the rest. I’m in Texas so the bosses don’t need a reason to let any of us go. Only thing I’d say keeping it from happening is they struggle to replace staff.
