The process has begun; just got braces

So I am getting orthognathic surgery for a pretty bad underbite. The plan is braces for 1 year, surgery, and then finish it off with braces for a few months post-op. I just got braces a few weeks ago so I have a long road ahead. Any encouragement would be appreciated, it's a huge undertaking but the only way out is through. I will keep you guys updated throughout the journey.
