Which secondary character nearly ran away with the whole film?

Hugh Laurie as Mr Palmer Bill Nighy as Mr Woodhouse Sophie Thompson as Mary Musgrove ?

For my money, Mary Musgrove every time. She's so well fleshed out in the book and Sophie Thompson eats it all and leaves no crumbs.
