Seeking ISO:9001 certification guidance

My small, relatively new business is seeking ISO certification. I'm extremely overwhelmed by the amount of info out there, but I can't find a clear starting point. Even iso.org didn't help that much. Now, I haven't purchased the standard from their website yet. Wondering if that's even necessary? My initial thought was to purchase the Gap Analysis. Anyway, if you have been part of the certification process, where did you begin? What books, sites, videos, etc helped you? If this topic was covered in a previous post, can you link it? I tried to search this subreddit, but didn't find what I needed. Thank you in advance for any tips you can offer.
