How much longer will my punishment last?

I was not paying attention when I got spooned a black mask within 23 kc, so it disappeared. Now I’m at over 1700 kc without another one. I know I deserve this punishment, but am I cursed to never get one? Is this the balance that Guthix demands? ;(
