My First 24 Hours with the iPhone 16 Pro

So, I live in a remote area and my phone arrived later than expected, around 2:30 PM on launch day. Setting it up went smoothly for the most part, but I ran into an issue while transferring the eSIM. The process was easy, but the phone froze at that step and wouldn’t move forward. I had to force restart it, but luckily, when it rebooted, it picked up right where it left off as if nothing happened. Probably a minor glitch in iOS 18, but I was expecting smoother execution from Apple for a flagship phone.

Now, let’s talk about the good stuff. The battery life is incredible, the screen is top-notch, and the photo quality is seriously impressive. So, in most aspects, the iPhone 16 Pro is definitely delivering.

What I’m not too happy about is that one of the biggest features, Apple Intelligence, is missing at launch. Siri is still Siri, which means it feels pretty dumb for anything beyond setting alarms or checking the weather. I was really hoping for an assistant that understands context and could handle more complex tasks.

Overall, I’m glad I upgraded since my iPhone 13 Pro was starting to feel outdated, but I don’t feel like I’ve gotten the full value of this upgrade yet—especially without AI, which apparently won’t be available for a while.

Anyone else feeling underwhelmed without the AI features?
