Bought a R3
After searching for the ideal bike for nearly 1.5 years , bought myself a Yamaha R3. With the price cut this seemed like a perfect deal for me. The lack of features wasn't a problem, I just needed a bike that was fun to ride in city and for weekend rides.
The bike's engine is smooth till 7k rpm post that point you feel a very little buzz. The ergonomics are comfortable , have ridden it in peak traffic mostly and mostly for office commutes till now.
The engine does heat up , and has the tendency to throw the warm air on ur knees and shins, but that's noticeable only once you have stopped the vehicle in traffic even in low speeds under 10kmph you won't feel the warm air on your legs.
None of the reviews talk about it but the exhaust has sweet pops and burbling sound when you let of the throttle.
Was expecting a mileage in the lower 20s but surprisingly I am getting an indicated mileage of 29.8kmpl.
