Passport Card

I am currently an adult dual citizen of Poland and the US. I have my citizenship through my mother who became a naturalized citizen of the US when I was 15.

My US passport which will expire in 2026. I am, of course, going to get it renewed. I see that it can be done online without having to send anything physically which is good. (I'm a bit nervous about sending my only proof of citizenship with the way things are now in our country).

That said, I was looking to get the passport card as well, to have added citizenship proof, but that seems to require a mail application. Does anyone know if a photo copy of my current passport would suffice?
