iPhone 11 - go from ios 16.7.2 to ios18?

I am satisfied with my phone’s performance in general with battery health of 84% . Except the battery drain i am more or less satisfied with it. I don’t nt really do updates often hence i have not upgraded to ios17 at all. I have a really horrible screen on time of approx 8-9 hours and i do most of my work from my iPhone. There is slight lag which i notice with simple tasks like opening WhatsApp.

Would it be wise for me to get on ios 18 when it is fully available for me to download? I have no plans of getting a new iphone at least for the next 1.5 to 2 years.
