Nerve pain?

I (39F) had a hysterectomy 3 years ago. All I kept was my ovaries. I have had on and off shooting pains on my left side where my leg joins my torso. My doctor said my organs were laid to my left side during the open hysterectomy. Does anyone else get these sharp and tingling sensations?
