3D Printed a VKB Gladiator Desk Mount
Got my hands on some VKB Gladiator joysticks a while ago (1x Premium, and 1x Omni Throttle), but was getting annoyed with the space they take up on my desk.
I know HOTAS can get expensive, but was having a VERY hard time stomaching the costs of various desk mounts (I'm a family man w/ a single income), so I tried to look for 3d printed VKB Desk Mounts, but wasnt having very good luck. I ran across this concept by chobbs42 on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4916743, which I loved, but was for the X55/X56, so i'd thought i'd take a crack at taking the concept and redoing it from the ground up for the VKB Gladiators.
After printing, tweaking, printing again and mounting, i'm REALLY pleased with how they came out. I was initially apprehensive of the PLA, but these things are pretty damn solid...
Just to try to fund my growing 3d printing hobby, I thought i'd throw the STL's and actual mounts up on Etsy if anyone is interested, but i'd love to hear what people think :)
