Any movies where the obvious final girl dies?

I feel like I must have seen some movies where this happens because it seems like such an obvious twist, but I'm actually struggling to think of any examples.

There's perhaps Scream because Drew Barrymore was the biggest actress involved at the time, but that happens so early in the movie that you never really got the time to see her as the final girl.

Then there's examples like Cabin in the Woods where she presumably dies, but only at the end when the story is pretty much concluded. It doesn't feel like her arc as final girl is cut short.

I'm looking for examples where the supposed final girl (or guy) just dies unexpectedly, no heroic sacrifice at the end or such. Any suggestions?
