Quick homemade hash (as a beginner)

I was grinding some bud for my DynaVap, and I saw this crazy amount of trichomes falling off while I was grinding. It was like watching a mini snowstorm. After some digging around, I found out that it was due to the bud being way too dry…

I didn't want to waste any of that good stuff, so I tried to get all the plant material out without using a filter. Took some work, but I got it. Then, I thought, what if I could press those fallen trichomes into something more solid?

I took two flat plates, put the trichomes between them, and stood on it to press it down. After a while, I ended up with this hard little lump. Did this a second time and got even better results!

I’m about to do this for a third time, but now with parchment paper and using a jar with hot water to press the trichomes while some heat is supplied. Then I’m going to press the material together like the last times..

In the meantime.. Here is what I ended up with for the first and second run:

Ps. Used 1g for the second run and got a total of 0.21g :)
