Walkable Smaller Towns in Germany?
Hi folks!
It's looking like me and my soon to be husband will be moving to Germany in the near future. He is a software dev and is job hunting there. If he ends up with remote work (for a German company), we will be able to choose where to live.
Any suggestions for towns around 100K population, that you would not need a car in? We are also open to suburbs of larger cities where the public transport goes out far enough to service that area and there would be a grocery within walking distance.
Edit: I should have said smaller CITY not town :)
We have only ever lived in the US.
Thanks!
