Should I switch from ps4 to PC

Hey everyone I have a question, I have only played on ps2,3 and now the ps4 and with all the new games coming out I’ve heard it’s better to get a ps5, but I have been wondering if I should buy an PC instead because they have more games overall that I can play that does not exist for consoles, I’m thinking that I’ll keep one controller so I can connect it to the PC for some games like Need for speed, well my question is more like what type of gaming pc should I get that can hold many games or what should I generally know when switching to PC, another good thing is that I can use the PC to edit ( I like photography also)

Also if you want you could reccomend different computers that would be good and other equipment that I might need, Thank you
