Controllers for PC, which are the best?
I currently have 2 xbox controllers and the 2.4ghz dongle. They are a few years old, but I never gamed much in the last few years. Trying to play marvel rivals and one of the controllers as making me walk forward without pushing anything, and the other one the left bumper clicks but doesn't register unless you really jam it hard. Both of them seem to be dropping inputs or lagging at times, but that may be the game too Idk. When I try to look side to side or up and down it will track fine for a moment, then sometimes I am pushing right and it doesn't go or barely goes. Then other times I push right exactly the same amount and I get all of the movement at once so I spin 180 and am looking at a wall.
All of that to say that while I love the shape and size of the xbox controller, it occurs to me that they may not be as good of quality as I once thought. That being said, I am looking at possible replacements. I have no interest in spending tons of cash on a controller, so those $100+ models are out. I just want something that is basically just like the xbox controller but works better without the drift, crap buttons, and lag that I am experiencing now.
I have heard ppl say that the 8bitdo ultimate 2c is a good choice, and it is crazy cheap. But the downsides I have seen to that are that it is shaped a bit weird so it might be uncomfortable. Also, I read that the dongle only supports play on 1 controller at a time. And I really like the headphone input on the xbox controller as I typically use the microsoft chat headset (one ear piece) because I like my surround sound on my tv lol. And on a personal note, I prefer being able to swap batteries. It is nice to only be down for a minute while I change batteries. I suppose this problem can be overcome by just buying two and keeping 1 on the charger though.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop them in the comments! Thanks!
