What is the worst unit in some gacha games

For all I know mihoyo and kuro have this thing where making standard ice characters dog ass and make you mald for losing your 50/50 to them. These characters are still usable but not great but I'm curious if there is a character so bad that you really have to try super hard to make them usable.
