Lower league save ideas

Because we have to wait another 6 months before FM25 comes out, I need another save

What I like to do is saving a football club like Bury from the lower leagues. Are there other level 8-10 clubs in England who have a good story, a decent crest and a good fan base?

Alternatively, I love a fallen "giant" in the European football leagues, but not the usual suspects like Deportivo, HSV, Bordeaux, etc. Just a football club with a nice story, who had a decent run in the top division, but fell off since. For example: UD Leiria.
