To those of you defending the new fender standard…

“How do you know it’s bad, you haven’t even gotten the chance to try it?” I have seen this take a LOT, and I have something to say for it.

We never said it’s a bad guitar, just that it’s worse than a squier classic vibe and ridiculously overpriced. How do we already know that, you might ask?

  1. It’s made in Indonesia. 600$ is ridiculous for an Indonesian made guitar considering the cost of labor there, and the parts.

  2. The parts, poplar body and laurel fretboard. Lower quality wood than real fenders, also used on squiers, and definitely not a 600$ guitar.

  3. Crappy ceramic pickups and plastic nut as opposed to a real bone nut and alnico pickups as seen on the squier CV.

Look at these OBJECTIVE FACTS and THEN tell me you can’t judge it.
