San Francisco to Japan and I'm terrified
Hey guys, Im flying for 12 hours over the ocean in a few days and I cant seem to relax. Its flight UA837. I used to love flying until a real bad flight where turbulance was maddening and we had to do a go around. I know flying is super safe and I understand the science of it all, I just cant break the thought of feeling helpless in a steel tube high over the ocean. Especially with the recent uptick in issues on the news (which I know i should avoid). Any words of reassurance that can bring me to peace during this dilemma would be wonderful. Im going to white knuckle grip my chair during the whole 12 hours.
Edit: thank you all, your support has been helpful. I appreciate every one of you, fly high my friends!
