Hot Take from a Monster Fkr

I don't really consider ACOTAR to be monster fucker material and that probably boils down to the fact that I don't think that humanoid beings like elves(or fairies that remind me of elves) to be monsters. I wouldn't even consider this entry level monster fucker territory? Which is a shame because based on the first book, the author definitely references beauty and the beast heavily. I'm not trying to gate keep, I'm just tired of getting recommend this series when it isn't what I'm looking for. (I appreciate my friend trying to connect with me though)
