Qur'anic Verses about Hoors
Surah Al-Waqi’ah (56:22-24) "And [for them will be] fair women with large eyes (breasts??) The likenesses of pearls well-protected, As reward for what they used to do."
Surah Al-Rahman (55:70-72) "In them will be fair (maidens), good and beautiful; Hoors sheltered in pavilions."
Surah Al-Tur (52:20) "They will recline on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large eyes."
Surah Al-Dukhan (44:51-54) "Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place, Among gardens and springs, Dressed in fine silk and rich brocade, facing one another. Thus it will be; and We will marry them to fair ones with large eyes."
Surah An-Naba’ (78:31-33)
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا 31 حَدَائِقَ وَأَعْنَابًا 32 وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًا 33
"Indeed, for the righteous is attainment – (31) Gardens and grapevines, (32) And full-breasted [companions] of equal age. (33)"
Word Analysis:
"كَوَاعِبَ" (kawāʿib) → Young women with firm, well-developed breasts.
"أَتْرَابًا" (atrāban) → Companions of equal age, often understood as youthful and suitable spouses.
Hadith about Hoors and Intimacy in Paradise
Multiple Partners and Eternal Desire The Prophet Muhammad said: "The believer will be given in paradise such and such strength in sexual intercourse." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Will he be able to do that?" He said: "He will be given the strength of a hundred men." (Sunan Ibn Majah 4337, Musnad Ahmad 18509)
Virginity of Hoors The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Each time a man has intercourse with his wife (or a hoor), she returns to being a virgin." (Reported in various Hadith sources with slight variations)
Hoors' Purity and Devotion The Prophet (ﷺ) described the hoors: "If one of the hoors of Paradise were to appear to the people of this world, she would fill the space between Heaven and Earth with light and fragrance." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2565)
