Pre LCI headlamp

Hello fellow E61/60 peoples.

I'm curious I just noticed something odd with the Xenon adaptive headlamps on my pre LCI 2006 e61.

When I turn the wheel right they also move right. But when I turn left past the center they just stay centered. Is it true that pre LCI headlamps move only to one side?
