Just a thought 🤔 Tribalism and cognitive dissonance of a large majority of UK drivers.
Drivers often experience cognitive dissonance and misplaced rage toward cyclists, blaming them for "slowing traffic" when, in reality, it’s cars that create congestion by occupying most of the available space. In less car-centric places like Denmark, traffic flows smoothly—sometimes even without the need for traffic lights—demonstrating how better infrastructure and fewer cars can lead to more efficient, harmonious movement.
EDIT: No sane cyclist wants to share country A-roads with motorists, on bike or on foot. Cars dominate. Cars cars cars. We're a car-centric nation and I think it's a net negative as they seem to make everyone miserable even car enthusiasts...they just haven't reconciled that with themselves.
