Doula’s that have given birth themselves, did you hire a doula for yourself?

I'm actually in a full spectrum doula training right now, and I'm also 11 weeks pregnant. I have thought hiring my own doula would also be helpful just to learn from them! I'm planning to do an unmedicated birth in a birth center so I'll have a great team of midwives, and I would hope I have so many of my own tools as well to help me through. It really just comes down to cost for us. I'd love to know if being a doula made you more confident in your birth on your own, or if it pushed you more to have your own!
