Good at Technical skills with not great soft skills

As title suggests I am good at coding and my tech stack. But when it's come to discussing road maps , explains features or explaining challenges I feel I am not giving my 100% someone has to back me up. It's really demotivating me.

People with average coding skills and with good soft skills are way ahead of me despite having same experience in the organisation.

Any ideas or tips or books one should read to improve my soft skills.
