The Kingdoms Mode and QoL changes that it deserves
The kingdoms Mode feels like DD2+, truly a more fleshed out experience that actually uses the fundamentals of dd2 much better than the confessions mode. Definitely a step in the right direction. Some QoL improvements could be made though:
- The experience of moving the heroes across the board could be streamlined somehow;
- Having the option to upgrade inns who have heroes stationed (not just the stagecoach);
- Some sort of meta progression (I like having everything unlocked from the get-go, but some meta progression (i don't know how honestly) would be nice;
- Selling stuff (please, Red Hook);
- An optional simplified travel mode (a la slay the spire) to choose locations without having to drive the stagecoach.
Edit: as u/Illogical1612 correctly points out, you CAN upgrade inns that the stagecoach isn't at, actually -- just left click on the little squares that show % upgrade completion.
Edit2: actually, you cannot upgrade, just look at the respective upgrade tree... So the suggestion still stands.
