My daddit passed today. Rest well, old man

This daddit will be helping my kids navigate the first death of a close family member; my dad. He's had a rough few years, and he went home on palliative care a couple of months ago, so this isn't a huge surprise. Still. He was so tired and so ready to go, and I'm glad he could pass peacefully at home.

I'm sending everyone a virtual hug, and I'll be doing a lot of in-person hugging over the next while.
