how to deal with tapering off cymbalta?

i have made the decision to taper down gradually & eventually stop taking duloxetine. i was at a max dose of 90mg daily. i spoke with my doctor early november to decrease to 60mg daily for about a month and a half then down to 30mg until the end of january. i did get to 30mg daily like 2-3 weeks ago but then i decided to just start taking it every other day or when i would remember (listen im not good at remembering to take my meds when my life is busy af sometimes) so it would be that there were times i wouldnt have taken anything for 2 or 3 days. and if youre in this subreddit then obviously you must be on duloxetine & if you are then you must have experienced withdrawal from this med at some point (if you take your meds daily like a good person). now this is where i need advice. if i go 2, 3 days without even 30mg i start getting withdrawal symptoms. im talking the usual headache/dizziness (but not really Dizziness, more like brain fog or brain ROT) tiredness ofc, irritability, etc but im also experiencing flu symptoms???? running nose, coughing, and like i have a heavy chest?? IS THAT EVEN NORMAL? HOW DO I DEAL WITH THIS. do i keep taking 30mg daily then just stop after like 4 weeks? should i continue every other day and then do longer intervals until i dont have anymore withdrawal symptoms? i know i shpuld ask my doctor but even at 30mg my brain is feeling like its rotting so badly. if anyone has any advice please share. otherwise i will speak with my doctor if i have to Thank you!
