Placements, colleges and false advertising.

I keep seeing these posts of random colleges advertising that they offer 40lpa, this is utterly absurd. As I had mentioned in one of these posts before, you start your career at a law firm as an associate, the max salary offered for an associate is 20lpa approx. . Please do not fall prey for such advertisements. College merely provides you with a degree, it is upon yourself to make the best out of the 5 years through internships and academics. It is through your hard work that you get placed. Do not be so naive, as law students the least expected from you is to research properly. Do this before deciding on a college. All the best.
