Just reached 800. How to progress further?

Started learning properly a month back and after being at a low of 542 just reached 800.

Currently, I'm solving 5-10 puzzles everyday and reading Bobby Fischer teaches chess. I haven't learnt any openings but just follow basic opening principles.

Would appreciate tips on how to progress further. Should I start memorising openings as the opponents are going to get better?
